Constellations: “Life is Stellar”

So many potential things can happen in that split second before a decision is made. What could happen if I choose this, or if I choose that? What could happen if I do this, or if I do that?

“In the quantum multiverse, every choice, every decision you’ve ever and never made exists in an unimaginably vast ensemble of parallel universes.” – that is what the play Constellations by Nick Payne explores.

Iba na ang Sariwa: Virgin LabFest 11

One of the exciting events in Filipino contemporary theater arts is the Virgin Labfest, which on its 11th year wears the theme “Sariwa. Untried. Untested. Unstaged Plays.” And for the last week of the festival, I was able to watch all sets, thanks to my festival pass. 😉

Footsteps in Baguio

The first month of the year was very kind to me, and maybe for most people as well. I greeted the non working holidays with bonhomie and I allowed myself to breathe, smile, and relax. I thank God for giving me time to travel as well.

That night, I picked up my bag, hopped up the bus with a few friends, and there I was on my way to the City of Pines. 🙂

A Strangely Pleasant Encounter

2014-12-19 19.56.04

Our visit to the CCP theater last week was by far the most interesting of the visits I did there. It’s the Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra’s 32nd concert season of wonderful music, Sound Kaleidoscope. Last week was the 4th concert of the season led by American conductor Jeffrey Meyer, who along with PPO took us all in a lively world through the compositions of Brahms, Stucky, and Debussy.

Also, I met a pleasing creature who told me smile-inducing stories and my encounter with this person made me realize that the world is filled of interesting beings.

Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs!

I’m not exactly sure how to feel about this but the geeky me is feeling a little excited. A group of passionate fans is making a fan-film about the marauders of Harry Potter! It would be so nice to watch my favorite characters once again. 🙂

The film will be titled: The Gathering Storm and here’s something about the film according to Indiegogo:

“The Gathering Storm is a prequel to the Harry Potter series, focusing on the Marauders’ sixth year at Hogwarts. The year is 1977, and the end of the Marauders’ time at school is drawing closer. In addition to the adolescent stresses of school, rivalry, and romance, conflict begins to run deeper for the Marauders and their friends. Sirius must deal with the repercussions of running away from his home and heritage. Remus struggles with the weight of his duties as a Prefect. Peter tries to help his friends and keep everyone together. And James, Lily, and Severus must face the aftermath of their lakeside incident the previous year. Amidst the threat of You Know Who’s forces looming on the horizon and anti-Muggleborn sentiments rising, tensions are growing strong within Hogwarts’ walls. With the end of their time at school drawing closer, everyone is forced to choose a side.”
