Dropping by Jawili Falls

From Malay, Aklan we had a sidetrip to the peaceful town of Tangalan, Aklan to see the Jawili Falls. The Jawili Falls is made up of seven emerald basins of water from the mountain. A tourist can go from the base of the falls up to the seventh level through the cemented stairway at the side of the falls.

The place is being developed and cottages are available for rent in the area. The entrance fee for locals is only 5 pesos while it’s 20 pesos for foreign tourists. Lush green floras surround the falls and it’s indeed a very nice destination for those who seek a nice and quiet place surrounded by nature.

Me at Jawili! Aw look at that wide goofy smile *shakes head*
