This is a famous candy from Baguio called the Sundot Kulangot. In English, it means ”Picked Snot”. Haha, yeah… odd name. It’s actually a very tiny piece of kalamay (coconut jam-like sweets) packaged in a small, rounded, shell.

My senior gave me some of these in the workplace and although I didn’t particularly enjoy these much since they’re very tiny, my eyes could not miss all the efforts done to these candy packages. I mean, these small pieces of candy are actually inside some nutty shells sealed with japanese paper and then tied in a row with kawayan sticks and ties.

Oh well, the simplicity of life. These candies are not for impatient people though. Because before you get to taste it, you have to tediously pick it first, like a snot. Haha.
